Thermography

Thermograpy: Old School and Still Cool.

Thermography (or Thermographic Printing as it is also known) has been around a long time. It was originally invented as a lower-cost substitute for engraving. The thermographic printing process raises type and images slightly above the surface of paper. This makes for an interesting tactile effect that is popular with designers on business cards, invitations, certificates, and more.
